01What We Collect

Account information you provide (name, email, phone), and property/tenant information you enter to use the Service (addresses, unit details, tenant names and addresses, rent amounts, lease dates).

02How We Use It

Solely to operate the Service: evaluating rent increase eligibility, generating N1 documents, sending reminder notifications, and providing support.

03Where It's Stored

Your data is stored and processed using Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) and Vercel (application hosting), both of which may process data on infrastructure located outside Canada, including the United States.

04Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

05Your Rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact privacy@raisebell.ca.

06Tenant Data

If you are a tenant whose information was entered by a landlord using Raisebell, you may also contact privacy@raisebell.ca to request access or correction. The landlord using the Service remains responsible for that information as our customer.

07Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and database-level row security — to protect your data. No system is 100% secure.

08Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
